Putting In The Work To Pay Dividends

The best way to be a winner at fantasy football 2013 is to work on it year round and not just during football season. Prior to the draft you should know about the players and what their stats are. A player that had a great previous season may not have one this season. You should know about more than just the previous year's stats, you should also take a look at several previous years to get an idea how this player works.

Two players who had a great year in 2011 but did not carry this on into 2012 were Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford. Matthew had a great 2011 throwing 5,038 yards with 41 touchdowns. This caused him to be drafted in the first or second round in 2012 but he was not able to have two great years in a row. Tom Brady one of the best quarter backs in the NFL had a great 2011 but also dropped his numbers in 2012. In 2011 he threw 5,235 yards with 39 touchdowns, in 2012 he only threw 4,827 yards and had only 34 touchdowns.

In the 2013 draft Doug Martin was a player to take a look at. Although he did not have a great total season his game against the Oakland Raiders showed what he was capable of doing. He had a total of 272 yards and four touchdowns in this one game. Heath Miller is another player to keep an eye on. Although he hurt his knee late in the last season, if he is able to play in 2013 he promises to be one of the best tight ends on the field.

Three of the best quarterbacks to watch this season is Peyton Manning, Tony Romo, and Alex Smith. Two of the quarterbacks who are considered to the worst are Matt Stafford and Christian Ponder. Fantasy football 2013 is guaranteed to be a season to watch.

So if you want to be a winner at fantasy football 2013 be sure to study your players.
